I recently experienced a stay at Devon River Pods, a well-thought-out retreat that strikes a balance between comfort and rustic charm. Nestled in a serene setting with views of lush fields and nearby horses, the location is ideal for a family getaway. The family pods we occupied featured a shared terrace, perfect for kids to play freely. While marketed as pods, they boast a luxurious finish surpassing typical glamping options. The well-equipped kitchenette included cookware, an electric kettle, and a fridge, facilitating easy meal preparation. The highlight was the outdoor dining area, where we relaxed by the chiminea, toasting marshmallows-a delightful activity that the kids enjoyed. The hosts provided essentials like tea, coffee, and a welcome breakfast basket, enhancing the overall experience. With free Wi-Fi and access to Netflix, the pods cater to modern needs without compromising the tranquil atmosphere. Devon River Pods offers excellent value for a family retreat, combining comfort and thoughtful amenities.
