I recently experienced a stay at Devon River Pods, a well-thought-out retreat that strikes a balance between comfort and rustic charm. Nestled in a serene setting with views of lush fields and nearby horses, the location is ideal for a family getaway. The family pods we occupied featured a shared terrace, perfect for kids to play freely. While marketed as pods, they boast a luxurious finish surpassing typical glamping options. The well-equipped kitchenette included cookware, an electric kettle, and a fridge, facilitating easy meal preparation. The highlight was the outdoor dining area, where we relaxed by the chiminea, toasting marshmallows—a delightful activity that the kids enjoyed. The hosts provided essentials like tea, coffee, and a welcome breakfast basket, enhancing the overall experience. With free Wi-Fi and access to Netflix, the pods cater to modern needs without compromising the tranquil atmosphere. Devon River Pods offers excellent value for a family retreat, combining comfort and thoughtful amenities.
